Do-it-Yourself Fashion Projects

Bored of an old wardrobe?
Stop throwing away your old clothes and revamp them! In this economic crisis, it feels good to know you're saving a bundle of money while still lookin good. A cool way of mixing up your wardrobe without spending the cash.

Gradient Tights
Inspired by Prada's Autumn/Winter collection 07 and Christian Lacroix's Spring Couture show, gradient tights have become very popular as well as very expensive. But now, you can make your own with just a plain pair of flesh colored tights and a bit of dye.

1) Mix your dye bath and rinse your pantyhose.
2) Rather than submerging them into the dye, dip them however much you would like them to be colored.
3) Hang the tights in the shower for an hour or so, allowing gravity to bring the excess dye toward the bottom.
4) Rinse and hang to dry.
